GVCSS | Non Profit Health Care

Greater Vancouver Community Services Society is a provider of health services ranging from in home services for elderly and disabled clients requiring medical and housekeeping services, to 24 hour supervision of severely disabled individuals through GVCSS’ Group Home support program.  GVCSS has over 600 employees.  They have been a Syncronet client since 1998.

  • Migration of a predominately Novell environment to Windows 2000 and subsequently to Windows 2003
  • Deployment of Active Directory
  • Migration of workstations to Windows XP
  • Installation and support for Exchange 2000 with subsequent upgrade to Exchange 2003 including Outlook Web Access

  • Deployment of remote access solution using SonicWALL VPN technology to support 11 remote locations including Richmond HandyDART and Simon Fraser HandyDART
  • 24/7 remote monitoring of all critical systems using Sentinel WatchlIT, a Syncronet branded solution
  • Ongoing technical support including break/fix, upgrades, troubleshooting, consultation, etc.
